Open Cooking

High Temperature

What is Open Cooking?

Open Cooking Mode allows you to cook without the measuring cup in place, so steam can escape freely. This encourages faster reduction, browning, and evaporation, helping you build richer flavor and thicker sauces — just like traditional open-top cooking, but with the precision, consistency, and safety of Thermomix®.

Control the heat. Unlock deeper flavor. Cook your way.

How does it work?

  • The TM7 automatically adjusts the temperature and speed to safely cook with the measuring cup removed. The lid stays securely in place to prevent splashes, while the opening on top allows steam to escape.

  • This mode is ideal for dishes that benefit from evaporation and reduction — enhancing flavor, improving texture, and achieving deeper, richer results.

  • Bold flavor. Better consistency. Precisely controlled.

Ideal for:

  • Reducing sauces, stocks, or soups for a richer flavour.

  • Cooking risottos or stews that benefit from a thicker consistency.

  • Caramelising onions or creating jam-like textures.

  • Evaporating excess moisture from purees or braises.
