Slow Cook

What is the Slow Cooking mode?

Slow Cook mode lets you gently cook up to about 1.75 lb of meat in liquid for 1 to 8 hours at controlled temperatures between 99°F and 208°F

It’s perfect for tenderizing tougher cuts, developing rich flavors, and preparing comforting dishes like stews, pulled meats, and hearty casseroles — without constant monitoring.

Low, slow, and consistently delicious.

How does it work?

By gently simmering ingredients over an extended period, this mode enhances

deep, complex flavors that aren’t achievable through other cooking methods.

Ideal for:

  • Busy families seeking a tasty and nutritious meal with minimal effort.

  • Get-ahead chefs looking to prepare delicious broths, soups, and compotes.

  • Experimenters eager to try different cuts of meat, such as beef brisket and pork shoulder.
